On Wednesday, Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co. (DSME), based in South Korea, announced a significant achievement with the delivery of the Deepwater Conqueror drillship to Transocean, a leading U.S. offshore drilling contractor. This drillship, ordered in 2013, represents a substantial project investment with an initial down payment of approximately 600 billion won (around $536 million).
