The Viktor Lenac Shipyard, located in Rijeka, has secured a significant contract for the conversion of the vessel Sampson, which is currently under the management of V Ships and Zafiro Marine. This initiative is backed by Carval Investors, a prominent name in investment management. The conversion aims to enhance Sampson's capabilities, transforming it into a sophisticated crane and pipelay vessel. Key upgrades include the installation of six new high-capacity diesel generators, each boasting a power output of 2,200kW, positioned across two independent engine rooms.
