Working Conditions Aboard the Diana

Dship Carriers, part of the deugro Group, is set to enhance its fleet by welcoming the multi-purpose project carrier Gallia. This acquisition is part of a broader expansion initiative that also includes two additional heavy-lift MPP vessels, MVs Holandia and Helvetia, during July and August of 2017. With a strategic focus on strengthening trade routes across Asia, the Persian Gulf, and Europe, the newly added vessels boast impressive specifications, including a combined lifting capacity of 240 metric tons and a deadweight tonnage of 12,780 metric tons. Arne Koester, Executive Chartering Manager at dship Carriers, commented, 'These vessels, named after iconic ships from the Press family fleet of the 1980s, are perfectly tailored to support our expanding client base and the significant contracts we have secured.' Dship Carriers aims to further enrich its fleet by investing in project vessels with deadweight tonnage ranging from 9,500 to 17,500 DWT, ensuring they remain competitive in the dynamic maritime industry.
