On April 1, the ferry 'Drujba' encountered an allision at the PBM terminal in Burgas under turbulent weather conditions. While maneuvering, 'Drujba' drifted and made contact with the starboard side of the cargo vessel 'Adnan H' (IMO: 8215649), which was berthed at an adjacent pier. In addition, another cargo ship, 'Mehmet Unlu' (IMO: 9200029), was affected, sustaining damage to its bow's starboard bulwark. The incident resulted in one reported injury. Tugs 'Golden Bless' and 'Multratug 26' worked to extricate the ferry from its predicament. Thankfully, there were no casualties, pollution, or significant structural damages reported. On February 15, 2018, a maritime incident occurred in Bourgas when the cargo vessel 'Drujba', sailing from Batumi, collided with the bulk carrier 'Dvadesetprvi Maj'. The allision resulted in significant damage to the hull, deck, and equipment located on the port side of 'Dvadesetprvi Maj'.
