The vessel was en route to Wenzhou port, carrying a significant cargo of coal that had been loaded earlier at the Muara Pantai Offshore Coal Terminal in Yu Huan. As the ship began to drift due to the mechanical failure, prompt action from nearby tugs and patrol boats ensured that it was swiftly brought back under control. Following successful stabilization, the Eastern Glamour was anchored and safely berthed at the Yu Huan Terminal at 7 a.m. on January 18.
