On December 10, 2024, at 8:16 PM, the ferry 'Eidsfjord,' operating the Anda to Lote route, experienced an allision with the quay in Anda. The collision resulted in a fender panel detaching and floating in the water. In response, the vessel 'Mesta' was dispatched from Sogndal to retrieve the panel and secure it back in position. After completing an inspection, the ferry connection was restored and operational by 9:30 PM. However, the service was suspended again later that evening for additional improvements. The following morning, on December 11 at 07:07 AM, Vegtrafikksentralen West announced the suspension of the ferry connection due to technical difficulties with the Lote quay. By the afternoon, Fjord1 informed the public that normal operations would resume at 4 PM. Unfortunately, due to ongoing work at the ferry quay, the early morning departures were cancelled on December 12, including the Anda departures at 01:00 AM and 02:00 AM, as well as the Lote departures at 12:45 AM and 01:45 AM.
