The vessel 'Enas H' encountered a significant setback on July 15, 2026, when it was detained in Balchik during a routine inspection. The inspection revealed a total of eight serious deficiencies that led to the ban on the ship's departure. Among the issues flagged were critical safety violations related to navigation and essential documentation. Specific deficiencies included concerns around the echo sounder under safety of navigation (IMO 10117), failures to comply with the International Code of Signals as per SOLAS regulations (IMO 10123), and incomplete ship certificates including continuous synopsis records (IMO 1123), crew documentation like seafarers' employment agreements (IMO 1220), and a lack of proper signage and indications (IMO 1310). Additional problems were identified in propulsion and auxiliary machinery concerning bilge pumping arrangements (IMO 13104), missing garbage record books (IMO 1320), and inadequate maintenance of fire protection systems (IMO 7124). Following the resolution of these issues, the 'Enas H' was cleared for release on July 21 and subsequently made its way to Istanbul.
