In a strategic expansion of its maritime operations, Turkey-based Parsan Energi has successfully acquired the LPG carrier Botafogo Gas from Singapore's MH Progress Line for a notable $12.5 million. This 7,396 cubic meter vessel, constructed in 2009 at the renowned Murakami Hide shipyard in Japan, is currently under charter to the leading energy trader Vitol. Earlier this year, Parsan Energi also made headlines by purchasing the 20-year-old Windsor, a 6,500 cubic meter LPG tanker, for $5 million. This latest addition strengthens Parsan Energi’s position in the LPG sector and reflects the company's commitment to enhancing its fleet capabilities.
