Just two hours into its journey, the Swedish Coast Guard and the Maritime and Aviation Rescue Center (JRCC) received notifications of the grounding at 8:21 p.m., occurring near Hummelvik. The Coast Guard dispatched the vessel KBV 452 from Oxelösund to assess the situation, while the environmental protection vessel KBV 031 was deployed from Nynäshamn around midnight.
