On November 28, 2018, at 12:55 PM, the standby ship Esvagt Claudine, navigating from Aberdeen with a crew of 12 aboard, lost its second anchor along with six shackles due to adverse weather conditions. The incident occurred at the coordinates 057°11'54.0" N, 001°58'12.0" W. This troubling event followed the earlier loss of the vessel's starboard anchor on November 21, which was subsequently retrieved. The Esvagt Claudine is currently on standby, awaiting further instructions from its owners.
