Captain Refutes Grounding Claims Involving 'Feed Stavanger'
On September 10, 2018, at precisely 2:42 p.m., the Danish Maritime Assistance Service reported that the vessel 'Feed Stavanger' had allegedly run aground at Boels Plade. However, the ship's captain firmly disputed any claims of an accident, prompting the Mobile Environment Preparedness (MMB) to be notified. In response, both the MMB and the local police initiated an investigation into the incident. Throughout the inquiry, the captain maintained that the ship had not run aground, leading to a review of evidence by Defense Attorneys for potential further actions. The 'Feed Stavanger', which was traveling from Korsör to Bakke, successfully docked at Randers at 8:30 p.m. Ultimately, as no conclusive proof emerged to substantiate the grounding allegations, the case was dismissed, allowing the ship to proceed on its journey to Bakke, with an estimated time of arrival on September 12 at noon.
