In a significant maritime transaction, Hyundai Glovis, the South Korean shipping giant, has successfully purchased a vessel for a remarkable $210 million. FLEX LNG has successfully finalized a time-charter agreement for its new state-of-the-art LNG carrier, the Flex Endeavour, with Uniper Global Commodities. Uniper, a prominent international energy firm based in Germany, operates across over 40 countries, showcasing its global reach. The Flex Endeavour boasts a remarkable cargo capacity of 173,400 m3 and features the advanced MEGI propulsion system known for its high efficiency. Currently, the vessel is under construction at Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) in South Korea. The charter will last for a period of 15 to 18 months, commencing immediately upon the vessel's delivery from the shipyard scheduled for January 2018. This agreement formalizes an earlier arrangement for extending the charter of a previously chartered-in vessel set to begin in April 2018, thereby aligning the delivery date with the Flex Endeavour's expected completion in early January 2018.
