A crew member aboard the MV Florinda, who tested positive for Covid-19, was hospitalized on April 9, 2021. Fortunately, he is now on the path to recovery. Thankfully, the remaining crew members have shown no symptoms of the virus. The vessel has been placed in quarantine at Santos, Brazil, starting April 10, and this isolation period is expected to continue until April 22. Currently, the ship is anchored at the coordinates 24° 7.73' N 046° 13.82' W.
