The International Transport Workers' Federation (ITF) has officially reported the abandonment of the vessel FOURTHMAN (IMO: 9181508). On July 16, 2019, the local High Court ordered the detention of the 'Ocean Diamond' at the outer anchorage of the Chittagong port. The vessel, carrying a substantial 25,604 tonnes of urea, was en route to fulfill an order from Bangladesh Chemical Industries Corp. for urea imported from the Middle East. However, following a resolution in the legal matter, the 'Ocean Diamond' was granted permission to resume operations and successfully completed the offloading of its cargo on July 28.
