One of its subsidiaries has finalized a three-and-a-half-year charter agreement for the GasLog Shanghai with Clearlake Shipping Pte Ltd, a branch of Gunvor Group Ltd. This new charter is set to kick off in June 2019 and will feature a variable rate of hire throughout its duration, based on a pre-established range. The GasLog Shanghai, a state-of-the-art TFDE LNG carrier with a capacity of 155,000 cubic meters, was constructed in 2013 and is currently engaged in spot market operations for LNG carriers. This deal underscores GasLog Partners' commitment to securing strategic partnerships in the energy transportation sector.

GasLog Ltd. proudly announces the successful delivery of its fully owned LNG carrier, GasLog Shanghai, from Samsung Heavy Industries. The vessel was not only delivered on budget but also ahead of schedule, marking a significant achievement for the company. Following its delivery, the GasLog Shanghai immediately began a medium-term charter with Methane Services Ltd. (BG Group). This state-of-the-art vessel boasts a capacity of 155,000 cubic meters and features Tri-Fuel Diesel Electric technology, setting a new benchmark for operational efficiency and environmental sustainability in the maritime industry.
