On December 8, 2016, the bulk carrier 'Globe Trinco' encountered a challenging situation when it ran aground on the Paraná River at kilometer 401, close to the bustling Rosario Port. This incident disrupted navigation in the vicinity, posing significant concerns for maritime traffic in the area. The vessel departed from San Lorenzo at 3 a.m., with its destination set for Bejia and an estimated time of arrival on December 14. Fortunately, on December 9, the situation improved as the tugs 'Coopor Estibador I' and 'Coopor Estibador II' successfully refloated the ship, allowing normal navigation to resume.
