Glovis Spirit Overcomes Technical Snag, Returns to Emden Before Resuming Journey
On December 23, 2019, at 11:30 PM, the vehicle carrier "Glovis Spirit" faced technical difficulties shortly after departing from the outer port of Emden on its way to Zeebrugge. The vessel, located just a few hundred meters from the Ems Pier, required immediate assistance. Three tugs, namely 'Finn', 'Radbod', and 'Bugsier 21', were dispatched to tow the ship back to the safety of the port. Following successful troubleshooting, the "Glovis Spirit" resumed its journey, departing again on December 24 at 6:15 AM and finally arriving in Zeebrugge on December 25 at 6:30 AM.
