A new trip charter has been established for the transportation of 170,000 tons of ore from Pepel to Qingdao. The agreement features a freight rate of $17.85 per metric ton, with specifics including a 20,000 ton shinc load and a 3,000 ton shinc discharge. This operation is scheduled to take place from September 18 to September 22 and is being facilitated by Tonkolili, under a relet arrangement with Hyundai Glovis.

On August 27, 2023, JSC Murmansk Commercial Sea Port achieved a significant milestone by successfully handling the largest ship to ever dock at the port. The 175,819 DWT Golden Beijing, measuring an impressive 297.26 meters in length and 45 meters in beam with nine holds, arrived at the terminal of Murmansk. The stevedoring team reported a remarkable loading operation, as they transferred a record-breaking 153,142 tonnes of export coal, marking the highest bulk cargo volume ever recorded at both Murmansk port and throughout the North-West region of Russia. The operation showcased impressive efficiency, with an average daily loading rate of 21,900 tonnes of coal, according to the operator's report.
