On April 9, 2019, ferry service on the Hareid-Sulesund route was brought to a halt for four hours due to technical difficulties experienced by the ferry "Hadarøy". In response, the "Suløy" was dispatched as a temporary replacement. While the situation unfolded, various suppliers were mobilized to address the issues at the quay in Hareid.
