Haya Vessel Reviews and Specifications

On May 5, the cargo vessel 'Haya', while on a ballast journey from Nemrut Bay to Aliaga, encountered a technical malfunction. The ship managed to navigate to Ayvalik anchorage, where it is currently anchored for repairs. As of now, the crew is diligently working on the repairs while the vessel is secured in position 39° 30.89' N and 026° 53.77' E.

On November 17, 2018, at 5 a.m., the bulk carrier "Amira Amina" encountered engine trouble while navigating the Mycale Strait, as it made its way from Sidon to Tuzla in ballast condition. Following the failure, the crew opted to drop anchor at Karanlik Liman Anchorage to address the technical issues. After essential repairs were conducted onboard, the vessel continued its journey and arrived at Tuzla Shipyard on November 25, where it underwent more extensive fixes with the assistance of shore-based support. After completing repairs, "Amira Amina" left Tuzla on January 18, 2019, at 3:50 p.m., making its way to Izmit, where it successfully berthed the following day, January 19, at 3:30 p.m.

In a significant maritime development, the vessel originally known as the 'Jansum' has officially been sold to the El-Amira Maritime Agencies Company based in Alexandria. After a year of being laid up in Leer, the ship arrived at the Emder Werft und Dockbetriebe in Emden on August 23, 2016. The ship will now be known as 'Amira Amina' under its new ownership, marking a new chapter for the vessel.
