On October 25, 2015, at 8:50 AM, the vessel 'Helen Anna' triggered a critical medical evacuation off the coast of Wangerooge due to a crew member's illness. Following a consultation with Cuxhaven hospital, a medevac was strongly advised. The Maritime Rescue Coordination Center (MRCC) in Bremen took charge, orchestrating the dispatch of a search and rescue helicopter. This helicopter transported an emergency response team from the Cuxhaven fire brigade directly to the vessel.
