New Charter Agreement Secured for Ore Transport from Dampier to Qingdao

A new charter has been successfully arranged for the transportation of 170,000 tons of ore from Dampier to Qingdao. The agreed rate for this shipment is $8.05 per ton on a free in and out (fio) basis. The loading will be conducted at a scaled rate, while the discharge at destination will involve 30,000 tons being handled on a ‘shinc’ (shifting/handling included) basis. This operation is scheduled to take place between October 11 and October 13 and is facilitated through Rio Tinto with Pacific Bulk as the relet contractor.
