Brave Bulk Carrier 'Hero' Saves Overdue Fishermen in Indian Ocean
On May 1, 2023, the bulk carrier named 'Hero', while navigating the Indian Ocean from Nacala to Munda, came to the rescue of two fishermen who had been missing for two days. The fishermen, aboard an open boat, were found safe and lifted onto the deck of the large vessel. Following their rescue, the SNSM boat from Mayotte arrived to ensure the fishermen's safe return to shore.
