On May 9, 2024, around noon, the Port Authority of Paros received reports regarding an incident involving the 'Thunder' vessel during its docking at Parikia harbor. A malfunction with the ship’s ramp led to challenges in both embarking and disembarking passengers and vehicles. The 'Thunder' was on a set route from the port of Ios and was scheduled to continue to Mykonos, Syros, and Piraeus.
