Engine Issues Postpone Departure of Hoegh Jeddah
On October 8, 2015, the Hoegh Jeddah experienced a delay in its departure from Melbourne due to engine problems. The vessel had been stationed in the main shipping channel south of Rosebud since around 7 a.m. to avoid disrupting maritime traffic. Fortunately, by mid-afternoon, the Hoegh Jeddah was back in action, conducting sea trials with assistance from the tugboat Hastings. Following successful trials, the ship received clearance to set sail from Port Phillip.
