On September 21, 2017, the tugboat "Catharina II" arrived in Ostend after departing from Antwerp. Accompanying it was the sheerleg "Hebo Lift 7" (ENI-No.: 02008680) operated by Hebo Maritiemservice B.V. This specialized vessel was assigned the critical task of raising the sunken tug "Mahery," which is registered under the flag of St. Vincent and the Grenadines, weighing in at 187 gross tons (IMO-No.: 8854158). The "Mahery" had tragically sunk in the Vuurtoren Dock on April 27 after being laid up for several years.
