On May 18, 2020, a significant medical evacuation took place off the coast of Cagliari involving a Filipino crew member aboard the cargo ship 'SBI Reggae'. The crew member exhibited alarming symptoms, including a high fever and severe muscle pain, leading to concerns of a possible COVID-19 infection. At the time, the vessel was on its journey from Santos, Brazil, to Iskenderun, Turkey. Upon notification of the maritime health authorities, immediate action was initiated. The affected individual was safely disembarked using a launch provided by the 'SBI Reggae' and taken ashore in Cagliari. Following his arrival, he was swiftly transported to the Santissima Trinità hospital, where comprehensive assessments and tests were set to be conducted to determine his health status concerning the COVID-19 virus. Once the launch returned to the cargo ship after the medical transfer, the 'SBI Reggae' was prepared to continue its voyage toward Turkey, underscoring the ongoing challenges faced by maritime operations during the pandemic.

On October 22, 2023, a new charter has been successfully fixed for a vessel operating out of Gibraltar. The terms of the agreement include a daily rate of $9,500 for a trading period of 5 to 7 months. This charter has been secured with Chart Not Rep, ensuring a continued operational presence in the region.
