On March 31, 2018, at 02:25 a.m., the freighter "Lily-B," while navigating from Port Penrhyn to Rotterdam, encountered a serious issue off the coast of Holyhead. The vessel became disabled due to a fouled propeller caught by the chain of a fairway buoy, with coordinates recorded at 53°16.38'N, 004°04.79'W. Carrying a cargo of 2,120 tonnes of slate and 24.8 metric tonnes of marine gasoil, the six-member crew faced significant challenges. To provide assistance, the tugboat "Afon Alaw" (IMO: 9298935) from Holyhead Towing Company was dispatched on April 1 at 07:30 a.m. After a series of towing efforts, the "Lily-B" successfully arrived at Wilton Port on April 9 at 5:30 p.m., marking the end of a challenging voyage.

On September 5, 2016, at 7:50 AM, a small oil spill was detected near the 'Lily B' as it docked in the southern chamber of the Kiel Canal locks in Holtenau, having traveled from Hamburg en route to Aalborg. Authorities were promptly alerted, leading to the temporary closure of the lock, where the 'RMS Rahm' and 'Adele' were also docked, until 9:10 AM. Following the reopening of the lock, both vessels departed safely. The 'Lily B' continued its journey, leaving at 10:00 AM to moor at the East Shore Port in Kiel for further investigations into the incident.
