In a significant milestone, the Great Eastern Shipping Company Ltd (G E Shipping) has officially taken delivery of its latest Kamsarmax dry bulk carrier named 'Jag Ajay,' boasting a deadweight tonnage of approximately 82,000 dwt. This impressive vessel was commissioned back in December 2013 and has been meticulously constructed by Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding Co. Ltd., located in P.R. China. With the addition of 'Jag Ajay,' G E Shipping now expands its impressive fleet to a total of 33 vessels. This fleet comprises 23 tankers—categorized into 7 crude carriers, 14 product tankers, and 2 LPG carriers—and 10 dry bulk carriers, which include 5 Kamsarmax and 5 Supramax vessels. The average age of the company's fleet now stands at 9.97 years, collectively aggregating to an impressive 2.48 million dwt.
