Great Eastern Shipping Company Ltd. (G E Shipping), headquartered in Mumbai, proudly announces the delivery of its latest addition, the Kamsarmax dry bulk carrier named Jag Akshay. This impressive vessel, boasting a deadweight tonnage of 82,044 dwt, was constructed by Jiangsu New Yangzi Shipbuilding in China. G E Shipping secured the contract for Jag Akshay back in April 2016. The bulk carrier measures 229 meters in length and 32 meters in width, with an impressive capacity of 97,000 m3. With the arrival of Jag Akshay, G E Shipping now operates a fleet of 37 vessels, which includes 24 tankers and 13 dry bulk carriers. The company's fleet averages an age of 8.93 years, with a total deadweight tonnage exceeding 2.8 million dwt.
