Zamakona Shipyards proudly announces the delivery of its latest tuna freezer vessel, 'Jai Alai,' designated as construction number 737, to the Echebastar Group based in Bermeo. This state-of-the-art vessel boasts advanced technology, featuring a robust aluminum superstructure and bridge, as well as ultra-efficient freezing tunnels capable of maintaining temperatures as low as -60 degrees Celsius. Designed with safety in mind, the ship includes anti-piracy measures and secure areas. Notably, 'Jai Alai' is committed to sustainable fishing practices, enabling the safe return of non-target fish back to the ocean with minimal human interaction. As a sister ship to the 'Izaro,' 'Jai Alai' is set to undertake fishing operations alongside its counterpart in the Indian Ocean, contributing to the ongoing efforts in responsible marine resource management.
