In a significant maritime development, two vessels successfully departed from Yuzniy Port on September 1, 2023, overcoming a Russian blockade. The second vessel, the Liberian bulk carrier 'Anna Theresa,' was loaded with 56,000 tons of pig iron on its way to Varna. A significant charter deal has been finalized for the transportation of 170,000 tonnes of ore from Port Hedland to Qingdao. The terms of the charter include a rate of $10.00 per tonne FIO, with loading of 80,000 tonnes on a shinc basis and discharging of 30,000 tonnes on a shinc basis. The vessel is scheduled for operations between December 25 and December 27, 2023, as part of a contract with BHP Billiton.
