Truck Plunges into Sea from Ferry at East Kalimantan Port
On March 23, 2019, an unfortunate incident occurred at the Penajam Ferry port in East Kalimantan when a truck fell off the 'Dharma Badra' ferry. The vehicle was in the process of being loaded onto the vessel when it unexpectedly shifted, resulting in the truck tumbling into the water below. Local authorities are currently conducting an investigation to determine if the ferry's mooring ropes were inadequately secured and whether the ramp door was properly affixed. Thankfully, there were no reports of injuries from this incident.
