On June 10, 2016, the renowned Dutch exhibition vessel 'Ark van Noach' was involved in a serious maritime incident in Oslo, resulting in extensive damage to the ship. On April 1, 2010, at 11:51 AM, the Norwegian patrol vessel KV Nornen, identified by IMO number 9353321, encountered a grounding incident between Jomfruland and Skåtøy, located off the coast of Kragerø. During the mishap, the vessel began to leak, prompting concerns as a light sheen of oil was observed around its hull.
