Diana Shipping Secures Extended Time Charter for M/V Leto with Glencore
Diana Shipping Inc., a leading global shipping enterprise focused on operating dry bulk carriers, has recently announced the extension of its time charter arrangement with Glencore Agriculture B.V., based in Rotterdam. This contract involves one of its Panamax dry bulk vessels, the m/v Leto. The newly negotiated gross charter rate stands at US$12,500 per day, with a 5% commission applicable for third-party services. This extended agreement is set for a minimum duration of sixteen months, potentially extending up to nineteen months. The revised charter period is scheduled to commence on January 3, 2018. Currently, the m/v Leto is under an existing charter, as previously reported, at a gross rate of US$7,750 per day, also subject to a 5% commission for third-party fees.
