Lewek-Emas Ship Details and Seafarer Feedback

Ezra Holdings has taken a significant step towards optimizing its operations by entering into a non-binding letter of intent for the sale of its Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel, the Lewek EMAS. This strategic move aims to streamline resources and mark a shift away from the ownership of FPSO assets. The decision comes in collaboration with EMAS Offshore Production Service, a subsidiary wholly owned by EMAS Offshore Limited. Lionel Lee, the group CEO and managing director, expressed that this transaction aligns perfectly with the company's strategic direction. He stated, "This transaction is fully in line with the group’s strategy to move away from ownership of FPSO assets and will allow us to streamline our resources." Additionally, Lee highlighted the opportunity to leverage their extensive experience in FPSO conversions to focus on higher-value service offerings. Currently, the FPSO Lewek EMAS is under charter with Premier Oil Vietnam Offshore BV, serving as the operator for the Chim Sao field located offshore southern Vietnam. The sale is contingent upon reaching a formal and binding agreement and acquiring the necessary approvals, with the completion of the transaction anticipated by the end of June this year.

On October 10, 2011, EMAS, a prominent player in the offshore oil and gas sector, proudly announced that its vessel, Lewek EMAS, has successfully reached its first oil production milestone in Vietnam. This floating production, storage, and offloading (FPSO) unit plays a pivotal role in the highly anticipated Chim Sao oil project. As the largest FPSO in EMAS Production's portfolio, this achievement signals the start of a significant US$1 billion charter agreement with Premier Oil Vietnam Offshore B.V. The successful kickoff of operations underscores EMAS's commitment to delivering innovative offshore solutions in the dynamic energy sector.
