On May 6, 2015, an intense rescue operation unfolded 500 nautical miles south of the Azores, as Portuguese authorities responded to multiple distress signals from yachts caught in a fierce storm. Meanwhile, the Swedish-flagged yacht "Missy 32," with a crew of two, managed to regain control over its situation and turned down further assistance, resuming its voyage. All these distress incidents occurred amidst the treacherous weather conditions in the Atlantic Ocean, underscoring the challenges faced by mariners in rough seas.
