On February 14, 2020, an incident occurred in the Perama naval yard when the St. Vincent and Grenadines flagged passenger vessel, m/v 'Theologos Eleni,' collided with the cargo ship 'Magna Grecia' while navigating towards the quay. Port authorities from Piraeus swiftly responded to the situation, arriving at the scene to assess any potential risks. Fortunately, the passenger vessel was securely moored at a nearby yard, alleviating fears of major hazards. Remarkably, there were no reported injuries or environmental concerns stemming from the allision. However, both vessels sustained minor damage to their bow sections.
