After almost two years of delays, the 'Maliina Ittuk' finally reached Greenland on October 20, 2025, and is currently operating between Qaqortoq and Narsarsuaq. However, with the opening of a new airport in Qaqortoq set for just two weeks from now, the ferry is slated to be taken out of service.
