An investigation released by the Accident Investigation Center has shed light on the grounding of the 'Amorella' on September 20, 2020, in Apotekarfaret. The inquiry identified multiple factors contributing to the incident, notably deficiencies in maintenance protocols. Initially, the grounding was attributed to a technical fault within the propeller system; however, the findings stress the importance of a more systematic evaluation of the functionality of critical components, particularly regarding their maintenance and replacement in relation to their operational demands.
