On August 25, at 2:30 PM, the bulk carrier 'Mineral Faith' experienced a grounding incident at the 101 km mark in the Suez Canal. By the midday hours of August 26, the vessel remained aground; however, it was confirmed that shipping traffic continued to flow without disruptions. The 'Mineral Faith' was on its journey from Narvik, Norway, to Suez, Egypt, at the time of the grounding event.
