On the evening of December 27, 2016, a tragic incident unfolded in the Banda Sea, where a fishing vessel carrying three crew members collided with the tanker 'Angelia 2' off the Bahodopi coast, Central Sulawesi. The accident occurred under foggy weather conditions that hampered visibility. Following the collision, a catastrophic explosion erupted from the fishing boat. Despite the danger, the crew of the 'Angelia 2' bravely attempted to rescue those aboard the fishing vessel. Unfortunately, their heroic efforts led to the loss of two tanker crew members. Remarkably, two fishermen were rescued; however, one individual remains missing. After this sorrowful event, the 'Angelia 2' continued its journey and arrived at its destination in Kendari from Baubau on December 28.
