In a significant development for the maritime industry, Kleven Myklebust Verft has officially delivered the new ferry, MUNKEN, to FosenNamsos Sjø, a subsidiary of Torghatten. This handover comes ahead of FosenNamsos Sjø taking the reins of the Flakk-Rørvik ferry route, starting on January 1, 2017. The ferry service covers a 7.6 km stretch and was previously operated by Fjord1. This transition marks an important shift in regional ferry operations, promising enhanced service and reliability for passengers.
