In a recent maritime incident, the vessel 'Enny' faced detention in Tananger, Stavanger on September 30, 2025. This detention was necessitated due to the discovery of 14 deficiencies during an inspection, four of which were deemed serious enough to warrant the vessel’s hold. The identified critical issues include: 1. **Structural Conditions**: Openings leading to the cargo area, including doors and scuttles, were found to be inadequate. 2. **Propulsion and Auxiliary Machinery**: Concerns regarding the machinery were also noted under this category. 3. **Life Saving Appliances**: The rescue boats onboard were reported as inoperative. 4. **International Safety Management (ISM)**: The ISM certificate did not meet required standards. Following corrective measures, the Enny was released from custody on October 17, 2025, and subsequently departed for Aalborg, where it successfully arrived on October 19th.

On the morning of March 27, 2019, at 6:45 a.m., the cargo ship 'Enny' found itself aground off Soesmarke, located on the southern coast of Lolland, at coordinates 54°51' N and 11°44' E, just south of the Guldborg Bridge. The incident resulted in damage to one of the ballast tanks aboard the vessel. Despite initial attempts to refloat the ship proving unsuccessful, discussions were held regarding the possibility of lightering approximately 1,000 tons of the vessel's cargo. Fortunately, a tugboat was able to successfully assist the 'Enny' back into the navigable fairway. Once refloated, the ship proceeded under its own power to the port of Nykøbing-Falster, where it docked at 9:50 a.m. on March 28. The 'Enny' was transporting a load of 3,200 tons of granite stones, having departed from Norway prior to the grounding. On March 30, at 7:00 a.m., the 'Enny' left Nykøbing-Falster again, setting its course for St. Petersburg, with an estimated arrival date of April 4.

On November 12, 2013, at 11 p.m., the freighter 'Edmy' encountered a serious incident while traveling from Antwerp to Lillesand. The vessel experienced significant smoke emanating from its engine room as it anchored approximately 28 miles off the Zeeland coast, near Stellendam. Fortunately, the crew of eight onboard promptly responded to the emergency, successfully regaining control of the situation before it escalated. In response to the smoke alerts, rescue vessels including 'Antoinette' from Stellendam, as well as KNRM lifeboats from Westkapelle and Neeltje Jans, were dispatched to the scene. After successfully managing the fire, the 'Edmy' proceeded to dock safely at Eemhaven Pernis in Rotterdam on November 13 at around 3 p.m. The tugs 'Multratug 4' and 'Texelbank' provided assistance during docking. Following the incident, it was determined that necessary repairs would be conducted at the Van Brink (Damen) Shipyard.
