Set to commence on March 8, 2016, the charter will run for a duration ranging from a minimum of 12 months to approximately 15 months. Under the terms of the deal, the gross charter rate stands at USD 5,550 per day, with a 5% commission deducted for third-party services. This agreement is expected to generate an estimated gross revenue of USD 2 million for the minimum charter duration.

Diana Shipping Inc., a prominent player in the global shipping industry renowned for its expertise in operating dry bulk carriers, officially announced today the delivery of the m/v 'Myrsini' (previously known as 'Stefania Lembo'). This Kamsarmax vessel, built in 2010, boasts a deadweight tonnage of 82,117 dwt. The acquisition initially disclosed on September 23, 2013, signifies a strategic addition to Diana's fleet, enhancing its operational capacity. According to the company's press release, the 'Myrsini' has entered into a time charter agreement with Clearlake Shipping Pte. Ltd., based in Singapore. The gross rate for the charter is set at US$15,500 per day, with a commission of 4.75% allocated for third-party fees. The charter is anticipated to begin tomorrow and spans a duration of at least four months, potentially extending to six months.
