Incident Report: 'Adiante' Grounds in Ust-Luga Port
On September 9, 2017, at 7:10 PM, the vessel 'Adiante' encountered an unfortunate grounding incident while navigating into the Ust-Luga port. Despite the presence of a pilot, the ship veered off the designated fairway near buoys 8-9 and became immobilized with its stern stuck. Recovery efforts commenced promptly, and with the assistance of a tugboat, the 'Adiante' was successfully refloated at 3:55 PM. Following refloating, the vessel was safely escorted to its berth, where it remained docked as of September 11.
