Neptune Ship Details and Seafarer Feedback

ENGIE has proudly partnered with project developers Kolin and Kalyon to introduce a groundbreaking Floating Storage and Regasification Unit (FSRU) in Turkey. This innovative solution involves the Neptune, one of the fleet's two FSRUs, which boasts an impressive capacity of 145,000 m3. The Neptune will serve as both an LNG receiving and storage facility, converting liquefied natural gas into gaseous form for distribution. The comprehensive infrastructure designed by Kolin and Kalyon includes a jetty and an onshore gas pipeline that connects the terminal seamlessly to the national gas transport grid managed by BOTAS. Remarkably, the development of this terminal achieved a swift turnaround from the final investment decision to completion, taking just 6.5 months. The Neptune arrived at the ETKI LNG terminal berth on December 11th, 2023, fully loaded with LNG and promptly initiated commissioning operations.
