On the morning of June 7, 2024, the ferry 'Nisos Kalymnos' faced an unexpected delay at the Port Authority of Kalymnos. Despite the incident, the ferry continued its journey and safely arrived at Pythagorion with 28 passengers on board. Upon reaching the port, the 'Nissos Kalymnos' was detained until a new anchor could be installed and a class maintenance certificate was obtained, ensuring the vessel's compliance with maritime safety standards.
