Salvaged Lifeboat from Normand Subsea Reappears on Fraserburgh Beach
A lifeboat that went missing from the Normand Subsea during severe weather on December 7, 2017, has been discovered washed ashore on a Fraserburgh beach on December 16. After being spotted by a local fishing vessel, efforts were made to tow the significantly damaged lifeboat back to shore. Unfortunately, the towing line snapped during the night, complicating recovery efforts. The lifeboat's owners have been informed, and the recovery operation is currently underway to retrieve the lost vessel.
