Solstad Offshore Completes Sale of 'Far Splendor' to New Owners
In a notable move within the maritime industry, Solstad Offshore has successfully transferred ownership of the vessel formerly known as 'Far Splendor'. The ship, previously under the management of Solstad's subsidiary Farstad Supply, has a new moniker—it's now called 'Northern Maria'. This ownership transition was officially completed on May 10, 2021. Prior to the handover, on May 6, the vessel was escorted out of Den Helder by the tug 'Hunter' (IMO: 9468372). The tugboat is currently navigating towards Thyborøn, with an expected arrival date of May 13.
